Another… brilliant… yeah, you know…
They say it’s a “small experiment”, but the idea of Google advertising on TV is really, really scary.
It’s just brilliant.
More stop motion from me. I have been working on this little film for the last couple of weeks. Its version 1.0. I want to adjust a few things but here is the first release. My girlfriend Vera did the sound effect voices 🙂
You can also view it in HD. But to do that I think you have to click on the video and get to the actual youtube page. Doesn’t seem to work with embedded video.
A nice Stop motion advert for Audi with a cute soudtrack, done by 1stAveMachine. Their website is nice and worth having a look at too.
Animation is something that has always interested me, ever since I was a kid. I used to make little 10 second animations on my dads SE Macintosh in the early nineties. And it is what made me want to go into the Digital Design world, work with flash and make little movies. But somwhere I lost may way and stopped creating animations. I have decided to change that and start up again. Today I was tinkering Stop Motion Animation. Something that I find facinating. I love that you can take everyday objects and bring them to life and give them character just by adding movement. Anyway. Here are the two clips i made today.
And if that didnt impress you. I highly reccomend checking out this amazing StopMotion animation. This is how it should be done:
Okay so I hacked your post, but i thought it would be silly to post this vid in a post of iots own (it’s clearly not woth it) This is a little stop motion i did as a test the other day 😀 Great minds!
OK, I updated this post rather than making a new entry aswell. I’m just adding a 4 second amination on here. This was a test I did with my new Nikon D60 to see if i could create an HD stop motion and try out the new HD functionality on Youtube. I created this one through the “import as sequence” functionality in AfterEffects. Its running at 24 fps.
Stop and go!
“The Pause NYC opening titles, created by Battery, deliver an ambient and organic design flare that ends up being high on my inspiration list for integrated typography pieces. The BTRY team also combines a very beautiful ambient lighting sensibility, with a nice juxtaposition of metallic/organic feeling type that blends very nicely together.
HD version is available here.”
Really beautiful type. It makes me want to make a list of the best title sequences ever.

It took 4,7 million dollars, 200 gigashot cameras, a 14 meter camera rig, 20 terabytes of data and the Bullet Time technique from the Matrix to make this ad. And it is pretty good to!
