DLKW retains HALIFAX account

August 5, 2008

A bit of news here for you all.
Catchy named advertising agency Delaney Lund Knox Warren & Partners (DLKW) has retained the HALIFAX account, after a lot of back and forth over the last couple of months.

UPDATE.

I have noticed that after the merger between Loyds and Halifax this post has been getting a bit of traffic again. One of the most popular search strings yesterday was : “will DLKW retain Halifax account” I am afraid that I can not answer that, and I would be surprised if anyone here or at Halifax would be able to give a concrete answer. The current management has chosen DLKW.

Brief 08

July 18, 2008

We went along to the Brief 08 event at the Design Council yesterday. The concept is that your agency submits a team that on the night is set a brief to solve. Then all the teams present their ideas to a panel of judges who decides which is the best idea. By having one of our co workers on the judges panel we felt sure of victory. How-ever a team of students who by no means answered the brief in hand won the entire thing. Which was really nice. I was expecting it to be full of these agency types who enter in order get some ego massage and justification for their sky high salaries, instead there where lots of (as far as creatives go) down to earth peeps enjoying the company and the free beers. Check out the pics here linky.

DLKW looses out to Springer and MCBD

June 5, 2008

MagnusDLKW was yesterday knocked out of the quarter final in RedBox’ yearly
table football tournament. Tiago and myself have yet to recover from the
blow and are still in a state of disbelief. The quarter final was a thriller and we lost on golden goal after the referee failed to award us with four goals that due to Tiagos lightning fast shot bounced back out of the goals after hitting the back of the net. MCBD who beat us in the quarter final went on to beat Google in the semis only to be thrashed 10-1 by Springer in the final.

Yours, in tears

Andreas
