Photosynth. Woohaa!
February 13, 2009I watcehd this video and then had a play with it. I was pretty blown away. I think it only works on PCs though, which is a shame. As you have to download a plugin to get it working. Since I work on a PC at the office (shame) I could play with it there. It’s still amazing just to watch the video. Someone at the office here was saying that this photosynth technology is possibly coming to Photoshop as a standard feature. Let’s hope so.

3D marketing
December 12, 2008I have come across some truly inspireing Ideas using some fancy (but simple) 3D software to let you interact with an object using a piece of paper and a camera. I’ll let the videos speak for themself. They are in German, but you don’t have to know German to understand the awesomeness.
And
We tried that Ford Ka example in the office. One of the guys downloaded the software to his Nokia. It works so easily, and its totally fun to interact with. Just point the camera at the paper and the car appears.

Best short film I have seen in a long time Oktapodi by Julien Bocabeille, Francois-Xavier Chanioux, Olivier Delabarre, Thierry Marchand, Quentin Marmier and Emud Mokhberi did an amazing work for this world known academy. Animation, lighting, moddeling, textures.. etc all of them amazing..
